Gulf Stream to display new Cabin Cruiser line at Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Gulf Stream Coach has announced the release of the Cabin Cruiser, a line of ultra-light fiberglass laminated-wall travel trailers that capture one of the most memorable and charming aspects of camping, the look of knotty pine paneling so often found in family vacation cabins and wooden boats.

“We’ve learned that the decor inside a travel trailer has a powerful emotional effect on campers, especially when it can recall fond memories of the past,” explained Tim Dennig, national sales manager for the Gulf Stream Coach Lightweight Division.

“Our new Cabin Cruiser features warm, rich wood tone paneling and cabinetry that sets a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. People step inside, and just fall in love with the look,” Dennig said.

Of course the Cabin Cruiser delivers all the benefits of a technologically advanced laminated-wall travel trailer, with structural panels, insulation, and a welded aluminum frame vacuum-bonded with fiberglass exterior walls.

State-of-the-art electronic features include LED lighting, prep for a satellite feed, solar-panel prep, a Blue Tooth home theater stereo with speakers, and wiring for HDTV in a centrally-located entertainment center. An electric awning with LED atmosphere lighting, microwave oven, molded shower surround, and 13,500-BTU ducted air conditioning are part of an included option package.

The three inaugural Cabin Cruiser floor plans range from 25 ft. to 32 ft. in length, with base weight between 4,000 lbs. and 5,500 lbs. Each features a slide to increase living space, and two offer kid- and pet-friendly upper and lower bunks.

New Cabin Cruiser models will be available for inspection at the upcoming RVIA Show in Louisville, in the Gulf Stream Coach display (No. 1701) in the South Hall.
