Gulf Stream Coach adds new V-Class floor plans

NAPPANEE, Ind. — Gulf Stream Coach dealers are enjoying robust sales of the company’s small fiberglass ultra-lightweight travel trailers sold under the Vista Cruiser and Vintage Cruiser (aka “V-Class”) brands, known for their seamless fiberglass roof and distinctive curved profile.

With over 6,000 units sold to date, “V-Class” brands are finding a remarkable level of devotion and excitement among campers, characterized by the recent owner rally held in Northern Michigan, where scores of Vintage Cruiser and Vista Cruiser owners from thirteen states gathered to enjoy the V-Class camping life.

The latest breakaway hit of V-Class construction technology is the retro-inspired Vintage Cruiser. Capitalizing on “The technology of the 21st century and the fun vibe of the 1950’s,” the Vintage Cruiser has introduced several retro color schemes, a nostalgic ‘Knotty Pine’ paneled interior, and a devoted fan base that has turned the Vintage Cruisers into a viral phenomenon that has strengthened Gulf Stream Coach dealers’ offerings to important and growing markets, ranging from brand-new Gen-X RV’ers to downsizing veteran campers.

Both Vista Cruiser and Vintage Cruiser brands offer highly refined floor plans that combine complete living accommodations, innovative use of space for storage, and welded tubular aluminum frames. Also in the V-Class build: Azdel synthetic substrate panels in vacuum-bonded laminated fiberglass walls, and a fuel-saving aerodynamic profile topped off with a one-piece laminated fiberglass roof that extends from the front hitch to the rear bumper.

“Dealers report that Vista and Vintage Cruisers are turning non-RV’ers into dedicated camping enthusiasts, and are earning the respect of RV’ers who are downsizing,” said Tim Dennig, National Sales Manager for the Gulf Stream Coach Lightweight Division. “We’re encouraging dealers and prospects to visit our display at the upcoming September Manufacturers Open House to see a broad representation of V-Class models, including two exciting new floor plans that add new 17-foot and 23-foot options to the lineup,” Dennig said.
