Fun Town announces Longhorn RV acquisition

TYLER/MINEOLA, Texas — Fun Town RV has acquired Longhorn RV in Tyler/Mineola, Texas.

With the acquisition the dealer will enter the motorized arena for the first time. Fun Town RV Tyler represents the company’s 10th dealership and the second added in 2018.

Jonathan Arnold, who was named regional manager and will oversee the dealership, stated, “Our owner, Jarrod McGhee, started out with a small location in Cleburne, Texas. He practices square dealing, promotes focused team effort, and provides customers affordable RV options and a huge selection. It has proven to be the trifecta of success.”

Arnold joined Fun Town three years ago, bringing with him 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. “It’s refreshing to be involved with a company that naturally feels like a career. It’s more than just a job,” he added.

As the company continues to grow, recruitment efforts also increase. Fun Town is a major player in terms of employment in Johnson County, Texas, where its home office, flagship super-center, and corporate headquarters are located.

“Expansion means opportunity,” said Arnold. “We’re always looking for motivated, qualified, people who are hungry for success and possess a solid work ethic.”
