Forest River to add 125 jobs by 2019

BUTLER, Ind. — A manufacturer of recreational and commercial vehicles plans to expand its operations in northeastern Indiana.

The state of Indiana announced Wednesday that Forest River plans to create up to 125 new jobs by 2019 in DeKalb County. Plans call for investing $2.9 million on renovations of existing buildings and construction of a new facility in Butler for purchasing, production and dispatching.

    Of course the taxing bodies and especially the new hires are well aware the cycle will end as it always does, right? When it does the new hire’s job like those that have been around a while disappear along with the tax dollars.

    Probably won’t increase production- I figure they are there to go back into a new Forest River and strip a few screws, remount some stuff crooked etc…
