Cummins announces key leadership moves

ELKHART, Ind. — Cummins Inc. has promoted Melina Kennedy to executive director – pickup business and Regina Barringer will succeed Kennedy as general manager, global rail and defense.

Kennedy joined the company in 2012. Under her leadership, both businesses have significantly grown, with the Rail business seeing more than 90 percent growth in revenues since 2015 as a result of the launch of the QSK 95 Tier 4 engine and entry into the North America high speed Locomotive market. In Defense, Cummins was recently awarded a $250 million dollar contract with the U.S. government to supply V903 engines for military vehicles over the next few years.
