Camping World pleased with Westwood One project

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. — Camping World and Good Sam announced today the winners of their Hello Camping World RV Sweepstakes, which corresponded with a national radio sponsorship that kicked off the launch of the company’s rebranding campaign, titled Hello Camping World.

The sweepstakes was part of Camping World’s sponsorship with Westwood One radio, and included a grand prize of a new 2015 Heartland Prowler 27LX travel trailer among other giveaways such as NASCAR tickets and gift cards.

The Hello Camping World campaign was created to showcase the great adventures that can be enjoyed in the RV lifestyle between family and friends, and how a variety of outdoor accessories such as grills, chairs, coolers and patio furniture can be integrated in a camping trip to enhance the experience.

Winners for the four grand prizes and weekly gift card drawings were pulled from over 55,000 entries received between February and April during Camping World’s sweepstakes. Barbara Mutchler, of Minonk, Ill., was selected as the first grand prize winner to receive the new 2015 Heartland Travel Trailer, who has plans to travel to different state parks and campgrounds with her family in their new RV.

The second grand prize, a race package consisting of four tickets and VIP passes to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and a $500 VISA gift card, was awarded to Steven Newman of Fort Wayne, Ind.. A tailgating package, the third grand prize, was award to Kim Heise of Cumming, Ga., and a fourth grand prize consisting of a $500 Camping World gift card was awarded to Kevin Walters from Spartanburg, S.C..

Camping World also gave away five $50 Camping World gift cards each week during the sweepstakes.
