Camping World gets go ahead for RV sales in Coldwater, Mich.

COLDWATER, Mich. —  The City of Coldwater Planning Commission has approved a special use permit request from Camping World Property Incorporated of Illinois for the installation of outdoor sales and storage as well as the display of recreational vehicles in connection with their 10-acre property at the Willowbrook Plaza, reported WTVB.

The permit was approved with three contingencies. All fencing has to be installed at least 25 feet from the Willowbrook Road and North Drive rights-of-ways. In addition, all fencing would be removed if this Special Use is no longer in operation and all lighting features have to be directed downward.

Plans call for the expansion of the Gander Outdoor retail store into the suite which used to be the location of the Younkers retail store. The site was originally built as a Walmart almost 30 years ago.
