Campers Inn RV acquires Camping Connection’s RV parts and service center

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Campers Inn RV has purchased RV service center, Camping Connection, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in order to expand its dealership’s parts and service offerings. Campers Inn RV of Myrtle Beach will feature a large parts and accessories store, as well as a new mobile RV service, RV Medics.

Camping Connection was a Lippert Component company and shared a building with Campers Inn RV of Myrtle Beach. Campers Inn RV of Myrtle Beach opened in 2016, and at the time, it was RV sales only. With this acquisition, the store will gain nine mobile service vans for campsite visits and an 8,000-square-foot Parts and Accessories Center.

“We are excited to add a new parts and service center to our Myrtle Beach store,” said Larry Peter, vice president of Southern Operations, Campers Inn RV. “Since we opened our dealership here, we have loved becoming a member of the beach’s thriving RV community. Our new addition will help us provide full service to our customers before and after the sale. We also have many customers from other states who vacation in Myrtle Beach, and we are now able to offer the same quality service they find at home. Our mobile RV service capabilities will allow us to help our customers right at their campsite, so they don’t have to miss a minute of their vacation.”

By adding a dedicated parts and service center, Campers Inn RV of Myrtle Beach will be able to offer a complete RV experience to its customers living in South Carolina, as well as those vacationing at the beach. This acquisition furthers the company’s goal of expanding its network of dealerships across the country, so its customers can find quality service whether they are at home or on the road. Most recently, Campers Inn RV partnered with Capital RV in North Dakota and acquired two stores in Alabama.
