KAMLOOPS, British Columbia — The community of Loon Lake is getting some help in its efforts to rebuild its fire hall from Fraserway RV.

The company has donated $275,000 toward replacing the building that was destroyed by the Elephant Hill fire in 2017.

Fraserway RV was also part of a larger fundraising campaign started by the Adventurer Group to help communities affected by the 2017 wildfires. The goal was to raise $500,000 in five weeks for local food banks, the Samaritan’s Purse and the Canadian Red Cross around Barriere, Clearwater and Cache Creek.
