Americana Tire prepares for growth

ELKHART — Americana Tire, a division of Kenda Tire, today announced the company has upgraded its nitrogen filling stations with a high speed distribution compressor and generator at its Elkhart facility.

“We were able to fill tires with nitrogen in the past, but not at the speed to generate high volumes as needed,” said Steve Coleman, sales manager at ATW-Elkhart. “Kenda is not a sourcing agent for tires.  We own the plants that produce the tire.  Having nitrogen adds to the benefits of using Kenda Loadstar tires.”

The company has also recently added a roadside assistance program called Kenda Care, he explained. This point of purchase information will be supplied to the  RV manufacturer to distribute with each coach being built along with warranty information, if requested.

Americana Tire and Wheel serves major trailer and RV manufacturers across North America.  Featuring Kenda Loadstar tires and Dexstar wheels, owned by Kenda, hundreds of combinations are available with various tire sizes and steel or aluminum wheel designs and color steel wheels.  All wheel assemblies are mounted using modern high speed equipment and carefully checked at every stage to insure you get the best quality products, said Coleman.
