ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Doug Schwebach, assistant sales manager at Rocky Mountain RV and Marine, made a guest appearance on KASA FOX2 to discuss the benefits of the RV lifestyle April 13.
The New Mexico Style Show co-hosted by Nikki Stanzione and Michael Junchaya was broadcast statewide. Several topics were discussed during the show, including when campers became RVs, and the various types of RVs on the market today, including truck campers, pop-up campers, travel trailers, and fifth wheels as well as Class A and Class C motorhomes.
Schwebach told the co-hosts that Rocky Mountain RV and Marine was a family owned and family operated business celebrating its 25th anniversary this month.
He also explained that when people travel in an RV they’re not renting a room, buying airline tickets or eating in restaurants. Rather, they are sleeping in their own bed, eating home-cooked meals, and saving from 42 to 71 percent over typical modes of transportation.
“My bride and I own a Monaco Diplomat motorhome, and when we travel, we enjoy having our own private clean restroom, and not having to stand in line for security checks or worrying about how clean the bed linen is,” Schwebach said. “And you can take all the clothes and other items you need, basically your home is with you.”
Schwebach and the show’s co-hosts reviewed several photographs that displayed some of the nearly 300 different camping sites around New Mexico including the winning picture from the Rocky Mountain RV and Marine newsletter photo contest.
At the conclusion of the segment Stanzione and Junchaya were sold on the RV lifestyle, and informed Schwebach that now they both want and RV.
