Airstream Q4 results up 18 percent

JACKSON CENTER, Ohio — Iconic RV maker Airstream continues to roll along, the Dayton Business Journal reported.

Sales for the Shelby County company were up 18.3 percent for its fourth quarter, which ended July 31.

Bob Wheeler, president of Airstream, continues to attribute the company’s success to improved distribution; a much-enhanced marketing effort, including strong social media presence; and products that are fresh and relevant for today’s buyers.

“More generally, consumer confidence seems to be strong as measured by buyers willingness to put down money on discretionary luxury goods,” Wheeler said.

Airstream is one of the biggest manufacturers in the Dayton region. Its continued success bodes well for the regional economy, the Dayton Business Journal reported.
