Welcome to podcast number 1 of Campfire Connection, a podcast devoted to the joys and challenges of the RV lifestyle.
There are so many wonderful stories about people who ventured out of the comfort zone to embrace more freedom and flexibility.
Campfire Connection will encourage you to seize the moment and pursue your dream today – not when you’re 65 or older.
We’ll talk to people who are full-time RVers as well as weekend warriors. Our guests will help you get started in the RV lifestyle, and show you how to enhance that lifestyle, too. They’ll also describe their adventures and lessons learned along the way.
Today’s guest is Tara Sage, the founder of RV Nomadic Living. She has been traveling the nation full-time for a number of years with her partner, Carl, to help others to embrace their dream of travel – well before they retire.
She describes some of the changes she sees in the world and offers tips for people to overcome those life challenges to embrace a more unscheduled and open lifestyle. In other words, she helps people jump from cubicle to freedom.
Her goal is to help people get started on pursuing their dream – but faster. She does that through educational services on her website and one-on-one coaching.
She describes her favorite things about the nomadic lifestyle, as well as some of the biggest challenges she’d had to overcome.
There are some things she misses about the traditional sticks-and-bricks home life and working in an office. However, the benefits of nomadic living outweigh any reservations she may have had about jumping into the lifestyle.
She offers some concrete tips that people can begin doing right away to put themselves on the path to living more boundlessly.
Many people have jumped out of their comfort zone to follow an ache in their heart for adventure and something other than a routine lifestyle working in a cubicle and living in a traditional sticks-and-bricks home with a mortgage and lawn work to keep them busy.
When you fail to honor your nomadic heart and soul, it sucks the life right out of you and leaves you dealing with regret, rather than memories.
Tara Sage is proof that it is possible to enjoy a nomadic lifestyle with freedom to go anywhere and still make a decent living doing so.
She and her partner, Carl, stand ready to help others start planning for their own adventures to begin living outside the boundaries of a traditional, uneventful life.
If you want to experience something different in your life, don’t wait.
The only thing you’ll regret is not getting started much sooner.
