We’re all about the “Supper Bowl” at FireDisc and helping you keep your family and friends fed for the big game.
Break out your FireDisc to warm up from this cold weather and cook some chili!
For all our northern friends, FireDisc is a great cold weather option and cooks fast even in the coldest of temps. We haven’t tried -38 F but -5 F works just fine!
Head to our recipe page for more Game Ready recipes. Here’s one of our favorites:
- 3 pounds of ground beef
- 1 (28-ounce) can of diced tomatoes
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 1/2 stalk of celery, diced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 to 2 packets chili seasoning
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
Set your FireDisc to high heat and add the olive oil, sauté the bell peppers, onions, and celery in the middle of the FireDisc for 7 minutes.
Move the vegetables to the outer ring of the FireDisc. Sear the ground beef in the center on both sides for about three minutes per side.
After browning both sides, chop up the ground beef and cook fully on medium high heat for about 10 minutes. Once the meat is cooked, mix all the vegetables and meat together.
Add the canned tomatoes and it’s juice to the FireDisc with the Worcestershire, soy sauce, and chili seasoning.
Set the heat to medium and cook for 30 minutes. The longer it cooks, the better it gets, so set the FireDisc to low and cook longer if you like.
Ladle over Fritos and top with your favorite toppings.
