Forest River recalls 142 RVs for incorrect axle weight rating

Forest River is recalling certain 2019 Rockport vehicles. The Federal Placard may indicate an incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR), which can allow the vehicle to be overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.”

Even toy RVs are being recalled

Toy maker Fisher-Price announced that it is recalling 44,000 children’s Power Wheels Barbie Campers due to an injury hazard causing the vehicle to run after the foot pedal is released, the National Consumer Product Safety Commission reported.
