WY: Yellowstone works on employee housing

Yellowstone National Park is seeking to solve a housing shortage problem for seasonal employees in the park. To that end, the National Park Service wants public comment on a proposal to develop seasonal housing for concessions within the park at the West Entrance and Canyon Village.

KY: Public hearing to make improvements to campground

The hearing, held under the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 (Public Law 88-578), is to receive public input for the proposal. If funded, the selected upgraded campsites are located at Carter Caves State Resort Park campground and include sewer, water and electric improvements.

CA: Planning commission votes to recommend RV park

After a three-hour public meeting of the Madera County Planning Commission last night at the Oakhurst Community Center, the Commission voted unanimously to recommend that the Madera County Board of Supervisors approve a nearly 40-acre RV and camping park on Road 632 (Sky Ranch Road).
