Wis. RV resort owners fined $85,000 for wastewater overflows

MADISON, Wis. — On Monday, Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced a temporary judgment against the owners of Crystal Lake RV Resort in Lodi, reports Legal News Line.

Legal News Line says Crystal Lake RV Resort LLC, Morgan RV Resorts LLC and Morgan Management LLC allegedly violated Wisconsin environmental laws resulting from the mismanagement of the resort’s three wastewater treatment lagoons. The three companies allegedly failed to report and mitigate wastewater overflows, reports Legal News Line.

The defendants must pay $85,000 in statutory penalties, forfeitures, attorney fees and costs. The defendants are no longer managing Crystal Lake, says Legal News Line.
