Winter storm wipes out 180 RVs in Arizona

MOHAVE COUNTY, Ariz. – The situation is touch and go for a flooded wash in northwestern Arizona where several unoccupied dwellings have been swept away by rising waters, KSWT-TV reported.

Mohave County officials were monitoring the rainfall and stream flow upstream of the wash Thursday.

Six homes have fallen into the swollen wash and about five others were teetering Wednesday night. Officials say the structures are among about 180 homes and trailers in the Beaver Dam RV Resort, a golf course community in a wash affected by flooding, KSWT reported.
