Winter camping available at Colo.’s Canyon Lakes

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A couple of year-round campgrounds are still open on the Canyon Lakes Ranger District, the Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forest announced.

Dowdy Lake Campground, near Red Feather Lakes, and Ansel Watrous Campground, in the Poudre Canyon, both have one loop open for camping year-round. The water is turned off, so site fees are discounted 25 percent.
