MARSHALL, Wis. — Reservations for Marshall’s Whistle Stop Campground have started out strong this year, property manager Dana Voit reported at the Marshall Village Board Jan. 8.

Voit said that $20,483 has been collected in reservations so far. “I missed three phone calls just sitting here,” she said, as campground calls get forwarded to her cell phone. “I am always taking reservations,” Voit said.

“People had great compliments on the campground. They were impressed with the beach and how clean it was,” Voit said. “We had a lot of repeat calls. I am really excited for this year.” Voit said the campground will be represented at 11 recreational vehicle (RV) trade shows this winter and early spring.
