BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. — The stars aligned Saturday at Beech Fork State Park, taking a weekend of family fun full throttle with an explosive combination of storyteller Bil Lepp and the Perseid meteor shower.
Activities for campers began Friday with a Selfie Scavenger Hunt at 6 p.m. near park headquarters and ghost stories at 8:30 p.m. near the cabin on the hill. Children brought out fishing poles at 3 p.m. Saturday to see who could catch the most fish in an hour.
