W.Va.: $11 million in improvements coming to state park

PIPESTEM, W.V. — More than $11 million in improvements are going toward a state park in Summers County.

The announcement was made by Governor Jim Justice at a special ceremony Thursday morning. The money will go to Pipestem Resort State Park. It will be broken down into several projects as follows:

Recreation Development – $3,938760
Lodge Upgrades – $3,152,000
Water and Wastewater Plant Replacement – $1,320,000
Zip Line Construction – $1,000,000
Tram Renovations – $666,500
Cabin Upgrades – $650,000
Campground Utility Upgrades – $320,000
