VA: Ghouls setting up camp at state park

DUBLIN, Va. — Halloween is just over a week away and the ghouls are setting up camp at Claytor Lake State Park for two special events this weekend: Claytor’s Haunted House and the park’s ninth Annual Halloween Celebration.

The fun and frights get underway Friday, 6-9:45 p.m., as the legends of the lake come back to life as Shelter 1 is transformed into Claytor’s Haunted House.

If you’re set on being frightened and can’t make it Friday, don’t worry; the haunted house will be devouring, I mean accepting, visitors again Saturday, 4-9:45 p.m.
