UK: Caravan and Motorhome Club adds Airstream glamping

UNITED KINGDOM — Experience Freedom from the Caravan and Motorhome Club has added the iconic, aluminium Airstream caravan to its range of glamping options. Sleeping up to four adults, this timeless icon will be a popular addition to the Experience Freedom glamping collection.

The luxurious Airstream Colorado Trailers are in situ on three Experience Freedom sites in the city of London, the Lake District in Cumbria and on the Sussex coast near Brighton

Holidaymakers will stay in brand new Airstreams that can sleep up to four adults. The Airstream has come a long way since its conception in the 1940s and is fully kitted out with all the mod cons and its large, wraparound and portal windows will flood the interior with light. The contemporary caravan features a luxury kitchen, gas hob, mini-oven and large fridge. As well as a flushing loo, shower and sink, lounge area with cabin-styled seats, central table, television and an integrated, Bluetooth-enabled entertainment system.

Harvey Alexander, director of marketing said: “Experience Freedom is unique in offering people the chance to stay in an Airstream, and they don’t even need to tow it as the iconic caravans are already located on three great sites. We’re always looking to offer customers new experiences and we’re delighted to be working with Swift Go on this exciting new venture.”

The Airstreams are kitted out with everything a customer would need for a stay. On the first day of the hire, the customer will be given a welcome pack and shown around the van and given a demonstration of how everything works. If a customer decides that the Airstream is for them and they purchase one from Swift Go, they will be refunded up to seven days’ of their hire.
