TX: Free entrance at state parks for Veteran’s Day

AUSTIN, Tex. — Fall temperatures are finally headed back to Central Texas this weekend, and despite the cloudy forecast, why not take the opportunity to get outside?

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is offering free admission to all Texas state parks on Sunday in honor of Veteran’s Day.

Parks will be hosting various programs throughout the day, and camping and activity fees will still apply despite the free park entry.
