TOYAHVALE, Tex. — The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department announced Friday that Balmorhea State Park’s San Solomon Springs pool has reopened to the public in time for the swimming season.

The park and pool will be open for day use only from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., or sunset, whichever comes first, the TPWD website stated. The San Solomon Courts and campground are still under construction and it was unknown when they would be reopened, so there is no lodging or camping at this time.
