Tentrr is spreading the gospel of glamping in California

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — If a New York company has its way, there will be more than a thousand new campgrounds in California next year — each with only one campsite.

The company, Tentrr, installs standardized “glamping” campsites on remote, private land, including ranches and family farms, that might otherwise go unused. It’s designed to appeal to campers looking for a more private experience than you typically find at established campgrounds in state and national parks.
