SWIFT CURRENT, Saskatchewan — The Town of Shaunavon Wellness and Leisure Committee recently held a contest to find a name for the town’s new RV Campground located on ninth avenue by the Crescent Point Wickenheiser Center.

The new campground features 11 fully serviced sites and a Dumping Station, and cost approximately $90,000.

Dana Dale, director of Wellness and Leisure for the Town of Shaunavon, explains, “The main reason that they decided to build this new RV Park is because they felt that the Shawnee Campground had basically grown out of it.”
