MUSKEGON, Mich. — The Muskegon Chronicle wants to know: Does the loyalty and love for Fisherman’s Landing come from a few fishing enthusiasts, or does the facility have broader support?
The Muskegon Chronicle says that question might be tested in the coming months as the West Michigan Economic Development Partnership Authority kicks the marketing of a Muskegon port development zone into high gear.

However, converting Fisherman’s Landing to industrial waterfront use would require relocating the boat launch ramp and camping facilities to another Muskegon Lake site, and the approval of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
