San Angelo, Texas, council discussing RV regulations

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo City Council and the Planning Commission will flesh out regulations for recreation vehicle parks in city limits in a joint session before the regular meeting of the council today, writes the San Angelo Standard Times.

The meeting is in response to a request by the Planning Commission, which anticipates an increase in proposals for RV parks as demand for housing escalates from workers associated with the oil boom, says the San Angelo Standard Times.

Currently, RVs for permanent living are allowed under the manufactured housing parks district, but cannot exceed 30 percent of the total units in the park.
