TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Light rain fell on Lake Tenkiller Wednesday, but it didn’t force visitors back into their RVs and tents. Instead, folks at Elk Creek Landing sat outside in their lawn chairs and relaxed as a cool breeze swept across the area.
“A little rain never hurt anyone,” said Jack Kraemer as he sat on the bank at Elk Creek Landing. “A lot of rain might, but this isn’t too bad, and we needed this breeze to come through.”
Elk Creek Landing is situated across the water from Cherokee Landing State Park, and it offers ample space for guests to enjoy the outdoors of Green Country.
