OH: Rates remain the same at campground

NEW LONDON, Ohio — Council discussed whether to raise rates for seasonal campers at the New London Reservoir Park Campground for 2019 but decided to leave them at $1,800. The campground closes Nov. 1 and deposits are due at that time.

Members voted to promote Jacob Johnson from reserve to part-time police officer and to accept Marcus Bess, Trey Cox and Mike Sword as firefighters.

Mayor John Martin reported he has made little progress with the Ohio Railroad Development Commission on getting the dangerous sidewalks at the West and North main crossings repaired.
