New cabins open at Fort Yargo State Park

WINDER, Ga. — One of Georgia’s state parks, Fort Yargo, has opened 13 new camper cabins for overnight guests. Located near Winder, the cabins feature two bedrooms, a sleeper sofa, one bath, a kitchen, television and screened porch, Savannah Now reported. Outside, guests will find a picnic table and fire ring.

Camper cabin guests bring their own kitchen utensils and linens; however, linen service is available for an additional fee, Savannah Now noted. Reservations are accepted 13 months in advance by calling 1-800-864-7275 or going online at GeorgiaStateParks.org.
