ALBANY, N.Y. — The state is adding 131 more acres to Moreau Lake State Park, bringing the park’s total acreage to 6,100, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo’s office said.

The new parcel includes summits, including Palmertown Mountain, with views of the Hudson Valley and southern Adirondacks. The vistas will help add to the park’s appeal as an increasingly popular destination for bald eagle watching, when eagles winter along the Hudson River.
