N.Y.’s Barber Homestead will expand by 14 sites

WESTPORT, N.Y. — DenPubs reports that on Friday, Sept. 13, members of the Adirondack Park Agency (APA) Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a permit for the expansion of the Barber Homestead Campground in Westport.

The seven-acre campground is part of a 90-acre parcel owned by the Barber family.

There are currently 40 sites at the campground, and the expansion allows for an additional 14 sites — seven drive-in, drive-out sites and seven pull-in, pull-out sites, says DenPubs.
