N.Y.: RV campground in final stages of approval

CATSKILL, N.Y. — Town planners have 62 days to approve or deny a special-use permit for Tiny Tines, a proposed recreational vehicle campground, on Cairo Junction Road.

The Catskill Town Planning Board closed its public hearing on the project Tuesday.

The 60-unit recreational facility needs the permit because a campground is considered a special use in a rural-residential zone. The board determined the project will not have an adverse effect on the environment.
