N.Y.: DEC seeks comment on Hinckley expansion plan

UTICA, N.Y. — Local residents will have a chance to weigh in next week on the state’s plans for a new campground at Hinckley Reservoir.

The state Department of Environmental Conservation is holding a public meeting to discuss “proposed and significantly expanded recreational opportunities at the Hinckley Reservoir Day Use Area,” according to a news release. The meeting will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29 at the Town of Trenton Public Meeting Room at 8520 Old Poland Road in Barneveld.
