N.Y. campground owner accused of damaging camper’s TV dish

OSCEOLA, N.Y. — WatertownDailyTimes.com reports that 59-year-old Joseph A. Sarcone Jr., co-owner of Cedar Pines Campgrounds in Osceola, has been accused of damaging a DirecTV dish belonging to a camper.

Lewis County sheriff’s deputies have charged Sarcone with fourth-degree criminal mischief, along with two counts of second-degree harassment, says WatertownDailyTimes.com.

Sarcone is accused of using the backhoe attachment on a Kubota tractor to remove a metal pole with the TV dish mounted on it on Sept. 23, damaging the equipment, and making harassing comments to the camper’s two children, reports WatertownDailyTimes.com.
