N.S.: Big Pond residents win appeal of proposed RV park

SYDNEY, N.S. — Roy MacInnis is a happy man.

“I’m doing pretty good right now,” understated the longtime Big Pond Centre resident after learning that an Alberta developer’s plans for a proposed RV park and campground have been derailed by the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board (UARB).

MacInnis was part of a group of seven people that appealed a March 2018 decision of CBRM council to approve an application to amend the municipality’s land-use bylaw.
