MO: Franky and Louie’s owner plans RV park expansion

LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — Deer Valley Campground’s RV park sits next to the popular Lakefront restaurant Franky & Louie’s, and could be expanding by 160 sites over the next three years.

Deer Valley currently has 300 campsites, according to their website, most of which are available for annual rental, but a handful of which are rented daily or weekly. Owner George Tucker has requested the Camden County Planning & Zoning Commission grant rezoning for a portion of a 52-acre piece of land, to allow Prestige Lakewide LLC to expand the RV park over the next few years. At the Jan. 16, 2019 Camden County Planning & Zoning Commission meeting, however, some neighbors asked the P&Z commission to reject the rezone.
