MA: Voters will be asked to buy campsite

WESTPORT, Mass. — The Campground Evaluation Committee has agreed to draft an article for the May Town Meeting warrant that will ask voters to approve buying the 33-acre campsite on Old County Road.

CEC Chairman Joseph Ingoldsby, following the CEC’s meeting, said the CEC unanimously agrees that the property should be purchased and used to supplement education and recreational opportunities. Selectmen on Monday also agreed to place such an article before May Town Meeting voters.
