MA: Luxury campground proposal before planning board

FALMOUTH, Mass. — A 13-acre wooded site on Palmer Avenue that has provided a place for basic family camping for nearly 100 years is about to elevate the art of outdoor living to “glamping” — a more exclusive and “glamorous” form of camping designed predominantly for adults.

No more hauling the camper to the site behind the family pickup truck or wrestling with tents upon arrival.

In fact, packing will be pretty much limited to groceries and the right clothing for enjoying the outdoors. Even bathrobes are provided.
