BOSTON, Mass. — Garden gnomes, boogie boards, and badminton rackets are just some of the things for sale at a popular family campground on Cape Cod that has closed its doors after being in business for more than half a century.
The liquidation sale at Sippewissett Campground & Cabins got underway Wednesday and will continue Thursday and Friday.
Lawn chairs, bicycles, towels, bags of charcoal briquettes, and signs emblazoned with summery slogans such as “Life is a beach” and “Welcome to Cape Cod” are among the many items up for grabs at the Sippewissett campground, a family-owned business that operated in Falmouth from 1961 up until this year.
