MA: Falmouth Campground shutting down, holding sale

FALMOUTH, Mass. — A staple of the Falmouth community is closing its doors.

The Sippewissett Campground & Cabins is under contract to sell the 13-cabin property. The campground, known to many in the town, had been in business for 58 years, opening in 1961.

“My parents bought the campground in 1961, so we just finished our 58th season here,” explained campground Manager Denise Dias.
