MA: Developer seeks to bring ‘glamping’ to Sippewissett

FALMOUTH, Mass. — “Glamping”—or “glamorous camping”—is making its way to Falmouth.

A new project before the planning board will turn the Sippewissett campground at 836 Palmer Avenue into a luxury camping retreat.

The proposal before the board decreases the campsite count from 122 to 108 and removes all existing cabins onsite. According to the proposal, campsites will come equipped with either Airstreams or canvas tents. Guests will not be allowed to bring their own.
