Ky.’s Wildcat Creek benefiting from government shutdown

MURRAY, Ky. — Francis Whitfill, manager of Wildcat Creek Campgrounds in Murray, said it was business as usual this week until Tuesday morning. That’s when his phone started ringing, and it hasn’t stopped yet, writes WPSD.

WPSD writes that as a private campground, Wildcat Creek is still open for business, and business has started to boom from shutout campers looking for somewhere else to set up.

“I hate it for them that their plans got canceled, but if we can help we sure will,” said Whitfill.
