KOA reports Labor Day camper nights up 16 percent

BILLINGS, Mont. — Reservations for the upcoming Labor Day weekend are running strong at Kampgrounds of America locations throughout North America, the company announced today.

Reserved camper nights for the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend are up 16 percent over the same period last year. That continues the strong trend in camping KOA has seen throughout the summer. KOA’s overall short-term camping nights are up nearly 4 percent compared to the same time period in 2013.

Overall reservations for the remainder of the summer season are up almost 11 percent compared to 2013, and the associated camper nights are up nearly 16 percent for the rest of the summer season, the company reported.
