SANTA CLAUS, INDIANA —- The Santa Claus Land of Lights opens for the season on Thanksgiving night, November 22. This year marks 10 seasons for the Family Christmas Light Adventure located inside Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in Santa Claus, Indiana.
The Santa Claus Land of Lights is a custom drive-through outdoor light show that tells the Shining Story of Rudolph with thousands of bright, energy-efficient LEDs and dozens of storyboards. At 1.2 miles long, it is one of the largest holiday light shows in North America, and the only show that tells a story, the Shining Story of Rudolph. Every vehicle that travels through the show receives a free photo with with Rudolph, which has become a popular family tradition.
Discount coupons ($4 off per vehicle) are offered at 40 McDonald’s locations in Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois. A complete list of coupon locations may be found at www.SantaClausLandofLights.com.
A portion of light show proceeds benefits the Ronald McDonald House in Evansville, Indiana. Over the past 10 years, nearly $52,000 in proceeds have been distributed to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
The Santa Claus Land of Lights will be open from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm CST on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from Thanksgiving through December 9 and opens nightly December 14 through December 30.
