IL: Lake Sara campground improvements outlined

EFFINGHAM, Ill. — Updates on public property at Lake Sara, including the campground improvements and movement at the Pearson Peninsula project, were discussed at the Effingham Water Authority meeting this week.
 Scott Conant, Lake Sara Campground owner, briefly updated the board and the two sides discussed a reimbursement agreement for work done on the campground, which is leased from the EWA. Conant pays $12,000 annually in his lease.

The original agreement was to reimburse Conant up to $8,000 a year, based on improvements he made for three years in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
