HARLINGEN, Ill. — A county park system that was “behind the times” will debut its new online registration for three popular parks, allowing guests to reserve RV and other campsites beginning today.
Cameron County Parks Director Joe E. Vega said the new system will improve on a current system which is dependent solely on walk-in reservations and phone contact.
“ We were behind the times when it came to providing a convenient service for guests to make reservations for our campsites at Isla Blanca, Andy Bowie and Adolph Thomae parks,” Vega stated via email. “It was important to offer our guests a much easier solution to make reservations.
